A Little Lucky

It’s a boy!

Seashore Vintage Bedding

So I found out on Wednesday that we are expecting another little boy! it was a bit of a shock as I was thinking that I would have another little girl….  instead we have a healthy baby boy brewing!  Now, I have to come up with names….not easy for a boy and really not easy for me given that I like unisex names.  Every name I like, sounds better for a girl than a boy…..ahhh! anywho, I’m sure it will come to me in a flash at some point in time….

I think I’m going to order this new bedding from New Arrivals that you can now purchase at Lucky Lou!  Check it out!  Pricing is great and the bedding is extremely nice…..I’ve seen it in person.  I love the vintage look so I think this will work great.

Baby No#3!

CharlotteBlake

So its been a while since I’ve written….life is just so crazy.  I finally went to get my oil changed today on my very cool Honda Odyssey Minivan….after about 10,000 miles….

I was a little overdue.  I found out not too long ago that we are expecting baby #3.  I find out what I’m having in about 3 weeks.  Everyone I talk to says…..oh, well you already have one of each so it doesn’t matter this time does it?  Well, it really doesn’t matter, but I think it would be easier to have another little girl.

I just love that she loves to play girly stuff….so fun…and she’s now at that age where she likes to put on my lipgloss and brush my hair..so fun…so cute.  My son only wants to do manly things with his dad…..fun for him…not for me.  He loves bugs and dirt (UGH..YUCKY!!)…

On to a girlier topic…..baby bedding.  I think I want to get some of the new Serena and Lily bedding for my new arrival (boy or girl)…..  Their bedding is so freaking cute that I can barely stand it..  Check these out!

Came across this fantastic (or should I say fabulous) stationery company a while back and thought I should post about them.  They are so fabulous in fact, that I, too, want to learn the art of graphic design (any takers on teaching?)…

The graphics are clean, simple yet so artfully done….I just can’t get enough of them.  Please enjoy the few pics I’ve uploaded here and please visit their site at FabulousStationery.com

 enough said….good night

Gift Giving Gets Personal….

RibbonPresent2

Tis the season for giving.  I’m always looking for new ways to make my gift giving a little more special.  I’ve always loved the idea (note…the idea) of giving beautifully wrapped presents to my friends and loved ones….but somehow they always end up being really sloppily wrapped.  I think that has to do with me wrapping my presents on Christmas Eve at about 11pm.  Soooo, I’ve found a solution or rather a company I now love has found a solution…..personalized wrapping paper, gift bags and ribbon.  Personalized with their name, your name or just a fun message….check out these great images for more great ideas to make your gift giving more special too….

Kung foo fightin…

Hi Yah!

We had a little holiday training session on safety, kicking butt and how to deter shoplifters at our store tonight.  One of the local police officers happily volunteered his time to teach all of us ladies the finer things in SAFETY…like being alert, projection confidence and being aware of our surroundings.  Freaked the crap out of me, but he is right….tis the season to be mugged & robbed.  Happy Holidays :)  Speaking of kung foo fightin…check out this cuter than cute shirt for boys at Lucky Lou…..Hi Yah!!

Boot Camp….here I come

Treadmill

BOOT CAMP FOR TREADMILL USERS: Found a great new way to inspire my running program…too bad I’m in Indiana and the classes I found are in CA. Make sure and check out Barry’s Boot Camp. Apparently, this is a new ‘boot camp’ for treadmill users…..kind of like spinning without the bikes. I’m pretty excited. I’ll be ordering the DVD to test out and I’ll keep you posted.

Lost & FOUND

Letters1Fabricletters2

I am so excited right now!  About 2 years ago, I came across these wonderful fabric letters at Anthropologie that I wanted to use to decorate my daughter’s room.  Of course they didn’t have the right letters or fabric combos to match…but I thought that for sure, I could order them….Well, guess what? they were no longer making them….not good.

Well, it appears that another company (Bombay Duck) is now dabbling in these great letters.  While I haven’t seen them in person, I am going to have to get some….b/c they are too cute! Check out these great pics…

Your New Blog by Blog What Design!

Welcome to your new blog! We hope you are as excited to start posting as we have been creating your blog. This blog is run off of WordPress. You can find documentation for this program in our resources section under “CMS Information” of our faq page.

Currently, your author name is set to display as your first name. If you would like to change that you, just edit your user profile page. If you would like to use the “Visual Text Editor” you may select that option on the user page. Please be aware, however, that this option may drastically alter the look and feel of your design. It’s generally a good idea to leave the editing system in the basic HTML editor style (the way it is set right now).

Here is some basic info on what the buttons at the top of your editing system actually do. To bold a selection of text, highlight it with your cursor then click on the “b” button. To italicize repeat the same steps with the “i” button. If you would like to link a selection of text, highlight it and then click on the “link” button to include the URL. If you would like to denote a selection of text as a quote, highlight it and press “b-quote.” The “li” button allows you to set a block of text as a bullet, or part of a list. The “ul” button allows you to indent this text. If you would like to insert an image, use the convenient “Upload” tab below, and upload your image. It will be placed wherever you have your cursor set when you click on “Send to Editor.” All of these actions will automatically be inserted as HTML coding, so don’t be alarmed/confused when it appears.

If you would like to edit your links, go to the links section in your administration panel.

Categories can also be easily edited. You may create those within the manage categories area of your administration panel.

Please remember that Blog What Design does NOT guarantee that we will back up and save your information past the finish of your project. Please back up your files.

You may delete, or set this post to private for future reference whenever you would like. If you have any questions, please do not hesitate to contact us!

Thank you for choosing Blog What Design! We hope you enjoy your new design and website, we loved working with you!
